Might be able to actually see some videos from flight now that i have some Software to edit the thing, i don’t like uploading raw, uncompressed footage…

And even more so with the Lagarith Lossless Codec. Reduced my file size by a huge amount without any noticeable loss. But I still crop and compress with Sony Vegas afterwards, anyway. It’s just so my 3TB HDD doesn’t get filled too quickly. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width=“20” height=“20” />

But yes. Grabbing it. Anything that could help me with video editing, streaming, etc. is worth having a look at. Especially if it’s free. Cheers for the heads-up, Dodge!

Recording with that codec using the YUY2 mode and multithreading enabled produces only black screen?

Use YV12 with multithreading; that works for me. And unfortunately, you can’t. I simply record with open mic and cut out any coughing, breathing, and whatever sounds I make that I don’t want in the final video. That also gives you the ability to comment on what’s happening as it is happening for possible viewers or after-action analysation without annoying everyone around you with irrelevant banter.
