I take issue with your disclaimer /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width=“20” height=“20” />
Haha, It wasn’t bad at all there are only one noticeable point in the video where it goes a bit derp.
It also pokes a bit at the fact we got a JNCO course, maybe it will catch someone’s interest and make them do a abit more research on us.
Are you a time traveller Knuddy?
YES..
NO..
Maybe..
It was a derp on my part, I was looking at things coming up for next week..
Any footage from the second engagement/exersice aswell? /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width=“20” height=“20” />
I got 8-12 minutes of what I’ll call usable footage, I’ll cook it together for you.
Awesome cant wait
You were crouched.
Also, Lipton’s “fuck them up!” and then a volley of nades aha
I really wish I hadn’t missed this.
All this whispering that does not make a difference…whenever people whisper with acre, i can always hear them more because it is a lot higher pitched and easier to pick out from ambient noise.
Quite the other way around actually from what I have experienced.
A lot of people play with sound levels so high that a whisper could make a difference.
Edit:
Regardless its a lot more immersive.
Absolutely more immersive
The last bit of the second attack yesterday, myself, Adams, Beazley and Jensen hiding from Motor-Mouth Lipton /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width=“20” height=“20”>
We heard him quite some way off, though still completely failed to give him the good news /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width=“20” height=“20”>
I could here everyone whispering it was just as loud as someone talking.
When you whisper, shout, talk normally your voice range is always the same with just ACRE. You need ST_Acre_Volume addon to make it realistic.
btw: Great videos Knudsen.
@2nd video, 4.30. That was what i was waiting for. Best fire control order ever: “FUCK EM UP!”
Nice vids knuddy, enjoyed watching them!

Agreed. I think it was Wilson that talked about the immersiveness of game sounds on HR before Forseti. I turned my game sounds up to realistic levels at that point and have been happily deafened by 1FLT ever since.
Whispering makes a difference at proper volumes, but isn’t something that can or should be enforced. End of the day it’s just that much more immersive.
And oh yes, Braddock, same for 1/3. Jet-engine-mouth Lipton was a nice indicator for EN contact ![]()
Jet-engine-lipton survived though, twice /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width=“20” height=“20” />
