Nice because pictures, but also some potential source material in there I think… will look through more carefully when I’m not at work. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width=“20” height=“20” />

Some more photos from OP JOINT WARRIOR:

The gunners of 7th Parachute Regiment Royal Horse Artillery were the last troops to leave at the end of Exercise Joint Warrior.

A 105mm Light Gun, along with its Pinzgauer gun tractor and crew, were lifted off the ranges at RAF Spadeadam in Cumbria by Chinook helicopters on Thursday, 10 April.

Not necessarily 16AA, but British none the less

From the same bloke. Very interesting to hear the radio comms, and why the hell does Arma not sound like that?

We’ve been Arma’d and we’re not even playing the damn thing.

JSRS for A2 got pretty close IMO.

Yep, and JSRS 2.1 for ArmA 3 sounds even beefier. There is also Speed Of Sound mod - WIP, but also improves sound assets on many levels over stock A3 sounds.

I’m positively surprised. 1/3 has gotten one facet of the milsin completely spot on. Could’ve easily been a contact call by us right there! /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width=“20” height=“20” />

That’s basically every section when an RPG shoots overhead.

True I suppose, but I can only speak for my own section.

Keep the thread on topic fellas - All general chat please move to PM, and/or create a seperate thread - Thanks in advance!

Maybe not 16AA proper, but here’s a ye olde documentary on the Pathfinders platoon when it was created:

Not 16AA related, but the type of enemy they might have encountered (and possibly still do)
